No i just rated it because i lov jk rowling
Yup i m planning to read Silkworm also and thank Q Smitha

The story begins with this very famous model jumping off her balcony. Where everyone including law enforcement is convinced it was a suicide, the model's brother believes that there was foul play involved and she was pushed to her death.
Enter Cormoran Strike. A war veteran who now runs a private detective agency.
The brother of the model employs Strike to investigate into this case and from then onward its how any crime fiction novel would proceed to end with a big reveal.
I have to say there is not a lot of suspense involved and the pace of the novel is comparatively slow to how a crime fiction novel should be.
Rowling seems to have spent too much time of the investigating detectives rather than the crime they are investigating.
Also I wouldn't categorize this novel as a thriller as such. There is not much of thrill involved in it.
I would surely recommend you to check it out of course because her writing is impressive nonetheless.
It's pretty different to how usually crime fiction novels are written, so you may like it or you may not.
As far Crime Fiction goes, Agatha Christie remains my favorite. You should definitely check her out if you like this book.

I'm just saying it was not the usual Crime Fiction.
When you say Crime Fiction, I like to be fast paced and full of suspense and twists and suspicious characters.
This book didn't have those elements, so I said it was not for me.
Smitha loved it, you see, so it depends on individual taste.
Yup you are Totally right, Thanks for ur Advise Gordon :)
