Does 140 characters read by 100 people make you an author?

Maybe one tweet doesn't make you an author, but over time and in combination with other publishing media--like blogging--you can become an influencer, right?

I'm glad everyone is writing LOL but there is a big difference between a writer and an author. I consider myself fortunate to be both :-)
