Sacha Haughtee | 1 comments Hi everyone, I'm Sacha Haughtee. I didn't plan to ever write a book, it just happened. I met this nice older gentleman client (Max), and he introduced me to the first girl that I ever played with (Little Lisa). I said something during our date that he thought was too funny. He told some buddies. They told him is was the funniest thing they'd ever heard. This is how Chapter 9 of our first book happened. We dedicated the book to Little Lisa. It is a true story.

I wrote this book to dispel the myths about escorts, and to tell my own story. The title is: "ESCORT - The True Story of an Orange County Call Girl" by: Sacha Haughtee and Max Spacer

Here's my favorite excerpt:

"If only I knew at the time that this day would be the point of no return, that once a girl crosses certain moral and personal boundaries, there's no going back."
Escort The True Story of an Orange County Call Girl by Sacha Haughtee
Book Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance, Memoir, Erotic, non-fiction, novel-length, true story, dual narrators, sexual self-discovery.

Length: 429 pages in print, approximately 115,000 words.

Notes and disclaimers regarding content: adult-themed content and language, explicit sex scenes, M/F mostly, some M/F/F, prostitution, daddy-complex, and some fetish activities.

You can read the first three chapters at the FREE Preview on my author's page or at CreateSpace:

Macabre Goblin (macabregoblin) Hello, I'm Willow! I'm a 25 year old college student and I love love love to read. I heard about this challenge on the Dear Book Nerd podcast and I'm really excited about participating. Coming into this particular challenger in the middle, I don't expect to finish it...but I would really like to clear as many books as possible from my TBR pile, which includes over 100 books I physically own and shamefully haven't read yet.

Brenna | 7 comments Hi, I'm Brenna and I am a fifth grade teacher in South Carolina. I heard about the challenge on the Dear Book Nerd podcast and thought it would be a good way to get through my ever expanding TBR pile. I don't read as much as I used to, due to the nature of my job, but I am so excited to get started with this challenge!

message 1358: by Morgan (new)

Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 923 comments Hi new people! I started just over a year ago and my usual reading amount -- which I thought was pretty hefty has had a 400% increase since starting the challenge. My best friend who was the one who talked me into joining has had an even bigger increase in her reading, so it really does work!

(The only problem is seeing/hearing about so many other good books that you'll add to your TBR....)

Good luck whittling down those TBR piles! ;)

message 1359: by Emily (new)

Emily Whitmore | 166 comments Hi everyone! I am completely new to this. I am excited to try something that will push me to read more of my TBR list/piles. I also am in love with the nature of the challenge. I am an avid reader, but not a huge book challenge person. A new booky friends encouraged me to try this, so here goes!

Drishti (drishti_ohri) Genre favourites......ummm....... fantasy, mythology and anything YA. But, I hate the love triangles that the authors force into almost every book. I'm planning on starting paranormal books, too.

Akhil Ambekar | 1 comments Hey everyone! My name is Akhil, I am 20 years old and I am from India(southern part of the country to be precise).
My love for reading started way back in high school where we had this school library and were allowed to borrow a book for a week, I was never much of a reader back then, always tended to be brief with my readings, one day my school hosted this book sale and the very first series I bought was His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman and since it was something I had purchased I wanted to stick with it for every page and before I knew it, I was completely in love with the story, the characters, the setting and almost everything the book had to offer. Within a couple of weeks I was done with the series and wanted more of this amazing experience and thus became the avid reader I am now.
The genres I normally go for is
-fiction
-contemporary
-a little of mystery/suspense
The moment I stumbled up on this website the one thing that stuck to me is the sheer amount of books that are out there for me to read is just overwhelming.
It's really sad that none of the people I know have a habit of reading but it's equally exciting for me to be able to talk to all of my fellow book readers and share my experiences.

I just can't wait to be a part of something this amazing.

Gabriella, most of our readers go into the challenge knowing they will not be able to read that many books. The fun is in stretching your reading boundaries. Enjoy!

Thanks!
Yeah, I was reading some stuff here and I saw that everyone is pretty conscious that it's kinda impossible. Either way, I'm having lots of fun trying to choose a book from my shelves and put it into a category. But I keep changing the selection every day, so, I think I'll end up reading at least a good portion of the 271 books waiting for me.

Marie | 4 comments Greetings and Salutations! I'm really looking forward to joining the Spring 2016 Challenge and expanding my reading list to genres that I normally wouldn't pick up. I just started reading for pleasure again after a long hiatus. Why the hiatus? I would get terrible headaches while reading--it only took me 7 LONG YEARS to realize that I need bifocals!!!! AGH:) Thanks for the add....
