Hey all, my name's Kristie, 20, from Virginia and going to school in Pennsylvania. I had a previous goodreads account, but lost all the information for it and so this is my new one. I'm a wildlife conservation major and I'm vaguely considering a Russian minor, though I'm thinking I'll just study it on my own. In addition to literature, I love nature, animals and outdoorsy things; music, especially of the rock variety; movies; and vintage and indie things.

Hi! I'm Elizabeth and am in my mid-30's. I have two wonderful boys (10 and 11) and work as a programming coordinator at a small, rural library. For pleasure, I read a lot of literary fiction and for my job I read a lot of YA fiction before we put it on our shelves. I joined my first Reading Challenge (What's in a Name 3) about a month ago, and I am loving it. But I'm already 1/2 way through the challenge (it's only six books), and wanted to find another one to keep me busy while I travel this summer. So I'm anxiously awaiting the Summer 2010 reading list. I've never done a points-oriented challenge, so I hope I'll be able to figure out what's going on! Hi everyone. I'm Cara Best and I live in Tarboro, North Carolina, which I'd never heard of until we moved here. To give you an idea of how isolated we are, it is 2 1/2 miles to our nearest neighbor's house, so needless to say I have lots of time to read!

I'm 58 years young, was born in Swindon, England and have been to at least 12 foreign countries and have been in all 50 states.

I have always loved to read, my Mom used to claim that I was born with a book in my hand. All the jobs I have held have been related to reading (except for being a shrimp cleaner in Alaska) or writing.

Hello all! My name is Nichole, I'm a 33-yr-old overactive, single mother of one. I love to read which at times I find myself just too busy to read or get lazy and don't when I could easily pick up a book rather than surfing the internet or thumbing through one of my scout projects (cub scout leader).

I have been looking for a book club of sorts but love the concept of this one. I love the fact that currently "The Historian" is the pick as I started that book sometime a year or so ago and never picked it back up despite having read 10-15 books since then.

I am always looking for new genres to try, especially since having been turned on to the thriller genre thanks to one of my closest friends being a writer and recently published. So look forward to giving this challenge a shot - thanks for sharing this with the GoodReads community!

Jasmine, I like to see what other people read, too. Of course, that has meant that I've increased my TBR from about 6 books when I started doing these challenges to what is now in the neighborhood of 200 books.

I have always had a love of reading and getting my job at the library has allowed my love to grow and flurish. I really enjoyed these challenges when they were part of the TNBCC group. I had a very taxing school year, so was MIA for a while, and then was distressed when I returned to TNBCC and they were gone. Very glad that I found them again.

I first set a reading goal in 2009 - my aim was 100 books with the idea that 10% of them would be non-fiction, I made it to 80 books, a little short of my goal but not too shabby....or so I thought until I realized that there were people reading that many books in 3 months! My goal for 2010 is 100 books again, though I'll just be happy if I beat my 2009 number.
