I've never read any of Neil Gaiman's books although I have intended to for quite some time. I must correct this glaring omission on my geek CV.
All you die-hard Gaimaniacs out there: which of his books would you recommend to a voracious reader of all things Fantasy? The Ocean at the End of the Lane caught my eye.
Yes read Ocean at the End of the Lane because it is short!!! I am like you I have yet to read anything of his other than Ocean but it was so good. My next book will be Good Omens.
I have read American Gods, Anansi Boys, The Graveyard Book, and Neverwhere. All are very good. As always everyone has opinions, likes.... The one I liked best was Neverwhere, least Anansi Boys.
