Jasmine (pikakejazz) I pick for Penumbra: Poacher's Fall (Midwinter Manor, #1) by J.L. Merrow and All Play and No Work (Cattle Valley, #1) by Carol Lynne . I have absolutely no reference for any books on your shelf so I just used a random number generator, haha.

Joanne is from Canada,
Robin Lee hasn't logged on to GR since 10/19. So I am going to assume she isn't even available. I will reassign in just a few minutes and see if we can get you some picks shortly

**Joeera, I sent you a pm.

For you, I choose Cold-Hearted Rake (The Ravenels, #1) by Lisa Kleypas & Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels, #2) by Lisa Kleypas because Lisa Kleypas is my favorite HR author. So in one month you can be caught up!

Connie N. | 685 comments Connie picks for Joanne

Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels, #2) by Lisa Kleypas - I've enjoyed everything I've read from Lisa Kleypas, although I haven't yet started this series.

Twisted (Tangled, #2) by Emma Chase - Very entertaining. Perfect if you're up for a laugh. Follows along nicely from the first in the series.

Enjoy!

message 117: by Joanne (new)

Joanne Thanks Connie, I appreciate you making picks for me!

Connie N. | 685 comments Always fun to look through someone's lists (and get ideas for my own TBR).

message 119: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 256 comments I've just finished reading Doctor Who: Magic of the Angels, it was so much fun for a short book. I gave it 3 and a half stars.
Doctor Who Magic of the Angels by Jacqueline Rayner

message 120: by Karen D (new)

Karen D | 111 comments Just finished The Wonder by Emma Donoghue , that was so good! Reminded me somewhat of The Exorcism of Emily Rose, but new layers kept getting added. Highly recommend!

message 121: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (jojolyn) | 673 comments Read Home is Where the Bark Is by Kandy Shepherd . A cute romance; a *** read.

I finished Little Town on the Prairie (Little House, #7) by Laura Ingalls Wilder last night. SO good!!! I highly recommend this entire series to anyone interested in American history. Laura lived in fascinating times, and you will learn a lot about how hard life really was for the people who struck out for the west after the Civil War.

message 123: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 489 comments Debbie G thinks for picking Iceberg (Dirk Pitt, #2) by Clive Cussler ,just finished it and of course I loved it, it's always a five star for me when ever I pick it up, plus I'm listening to Oliver Twist on loyalbooks.com already on chapter 13

message 124: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (debbiegray) | 1030 comments I'm so glad that they were good choices.

message 125: by Sunshine✰✰✰ (new)

Sunshine✰✰✰ | 687 comments Finished my first book.

The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner by James Dashner 11/9/16

I saw the movie long enough ago that I only remember the gist of it so I wasn't comparing the two. I gave it 4 stars

Avid Reader and Geek Girl (avidreaderandgeekgirl) | 417 comments Finished and enjoyed How I Met Your Father by L.B. Gregg

message 127: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts

Super cute if you're looking for something to just give you happy feels!

Avid Reader and Geek Girl (avidreaderandgeekgirl) | 417 comments Started Hot Head (Head #1) by Damon Suede but it was too depressing to get that far.

message 129: by Marty (last edited Nov 22, 2016 07:26PM) (new)

Marty (martymill) | 1299 comments Finished Skeletons at the Feast today.
Skeletons at the Feast by Chris Bohjalian
I like pretty much anything Bohjalian writes. This was a bit of a departure for him - he hasn't tackled WWII events in the European theater before. It was sad in a lot of ways, but it did end on some hopeful notes. I gave it four stars.

Don't know if I'll get my other book read but I'll try.

Good job, Sunshine! I've read one of mine too.

Lyndi (mibookobsession) (mibookobsession) | 259 comments I finished The Abominable by Dan Simmons this morning. At over 650 pages it felt like I was trekking up a mountain too, lol. It was good, but it took awhile to get there.

Impressive! I am interested in this one as well.

Rachel Bea (gekrepten) | 650 comments I finished The Coldest Girl in Coldtown last night, thanks so much for the pick, Jenn! I would have loved to finsh Grave Mercy this month too but there was no time for it (and it's a pretty thick book). May have to try for it next month, lol. Anyway Coldest Girl was pretty good, I enjoyed it!!!

That's on my TBR shelf, I really want to read it this winter. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm excited to read it eventually! I'm waiting for the snowy weather to get here, lol.

message 139: by Tina (new)

Tina I have read Replica 3 stars (average sci-fi, YA).

message 140: by Connie (new)

Connie D | 328 comments Jodi, thanks for picking for me! I completed the challenge, just in time, reading Between the Lines (Between the Lines, #1) by Jodi Picoult at the beginning of the month and When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi today. They were very different from each other, but were both worth reading.
