Drum Roll Please-The inaugural Goodreads book club read!!!!!

Yes that's right all my Goodreads peeps. The three nominations were put in a hat and I had a co-worker pick the winner.
I just chatted w/Lisa who will be joining in.
I'm setting it for July so we all have enough time to get the book. Stay tuned to this thread as in the next couple of weeks I'll select the reading schedule and all other pertinent info.
Yay I hope you're all as excited as I am to welcome the first of I hope many reads together and I can't think of a better choice than Lisa to start it off.

Just read TarHeelGirloo's comment and went straight to B&N. I just downloaded it to my NOOKs, too--still at $3.99. Thanks for the heads-up! I probably would have waited until later and missed the low price.

Just finished The Golem and the Jinni. Reading short stories and biding my time until we begin our reading with Lisa.

Hi Edie, I'll be posting the reading schedule next week. We begin the discussion on July 7th and it will run for three weeks discussing one part each week just like we did at B&N.

Week Three July 21 - 27 Chapters 20-end
Week Four July 28th-end Thank You Week!

Ang I have had people start the read early and even go all through the book which is fine. I just find it's easier to stay on track because then I don't accidentally reveal spoilers!!
