Linda C (libladynylindac) Linda C picks for Marisa

I pick the

Sand and Sea Hawaiian Mysteries by Kathi Daley

The premise for the first one sounds intriguing. I'll be interested in seeing what you think

Marisa (moretta) | 421 comments Thank you, Linda. It's a good push for this series in my TBR, and I've liked another series by this author.

Helen (helennn) | 1020 comments Thank you Troll. I have a couple of newer ones from the Hannah Swenson series on my shelf, but may look for a couple of the earlier ones I haven't read yet.

Helen (helennn) | 1020 comments Marianne,
I don't know any of the series you posted, but I'm choosing the Getting Old is Murder series for you.

message 55: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 794 comments I think I will redo most of my list for the December challenge. I will probably use one of the Danger Cove books for the Baker's Dozen Challenge. I have the first half dozen or so Brother Cadfael and the first dozen or so Stephanie Plum books and the first 4 Aloha Lagoon books...then there is Martha Grimes' books about Inspector Jury...more Peter Wimsey novels....choices choices and only a month to work out which ones to use next month...:)

Sharon PLB (sharonlpb) | 234 comments Hi, Louise. Sorry about the delay in picking for you. As it turns out, I'm not familiar with any of the series you offered, but I'm really curious about the housewife assasins. I'm picking that and hoping you'll let me know how you like it. Happy reading!

I would HIGHLY recommend reading all of Lee Harris's Christine Bennett series, starting with The Good Friday Murder, which in my opinion is the best one in the entire series. All the series books are excellent and she was one of my favorite authors. Very good, classic, old-fashioned type of mysteries.

Thanks Julesy. However, I guess I didn't word my message correctly. I have read all the Christine Bennett books up to this one (I am reading them in order). What I meant by the "first" is that this series was chosen for me for the November challenge and this was the "first" of two that I would be reading for that challenge. I agree with you 100% that Lee Harris' books are wonderful and that she is one of my favorite writers as well. Thanks so much for caring enough to comment.

MaryAnn (EmilyD1037) I agree ...she's the best. Glad you are enjoying the reads I choose for you.
