Thank you, Linda. It's a good push for this series in my TBR, and I've liked another series by this author.
Thank you Troll. I have a couple of newer ones from the Hannah Swenson series on my shelf, but may look for a couple of the earlier ones I haven't read yet.
Marianne,I don't know any of the series you posted, but I'm choosing the Getting Old is Murder series for you.
I think I will redo most of my list for the December challenge. I will probably use one of the Danger Cove books for the Baker's Dozen Challenge. I have the first half dozen or so Brother Cadfael and the first dozen or so Stephanie Plum books and the first 4 Aloha Lagoon books...then there is Martha Grimes' books about Inspector Jury...more Peter Wimsey novels....choices choices and only a month to work out which ones to use next month...:)
Hi, Louise. Sorry about the delay in picking for you. As it turns out, I'm not familiar with any of the series you offered, but I'm really curious about the housewife assasins. I'm picking that and hoping you'll let me know how you like it. Happy reading!

Sharon I choose for you the Cleo Coyle Coffee House Series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy reading :)Marianne
Thanks, Marianne. As a tea drinker, I had my doubts about picking this series (grin), but I'm sure it will be fun.

Will be beginning Kelly Logan's book and the 1st Hannah Swenson book today (Tue 11/1). Looking forward to both !
I have read my first Lee Harris, The Thanksgiving Day Murder, for the November challenge. I loved it. I don't know how she does this so well.
Jeanne wrote: "I have read my first Lee Harris, The Thanksgiving Day Murder, for the November challenge. I loved it. I don't know how she does this so well."I would HIGHLY recommend reading all of Lee Harris's Christine Bennett series, starting with The Good Friday Murder, which in my opinion is the best one in the entire series. All the series books are excellent and she was one of my favorite authors. Very good, classic, old-fashioned type of mysteries.

Thanks Julesy. However, I guess I didn't word my message correctly. I have read all the Christine Bennett books up to this one (I am reading them in order). What I meant by the "first" is that this series was chosen for me for the November challenge and this was the "first" of two that I would be reading for that challenge. I agree with you 100% that Lee Harris' books are wonderful and that she is one of my favorite writers as well. Thanks so much for caring enough to comment.
MaryAnn wrote: "I agree ...she's the best. Glad you are enjoying the reads I choose for you."Thanks again for choosing Lee Harris for me if I haven't thanked you before.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Jeanne! ;-) Glad you are enjoying the Thanksgiving book. It was one of my favorites in the series.
Finished the first book in my challenge this afternoon. Since the Christmas short story takes place between book 1 and 2 , I will read it next.
Some days ago I finished my first November book
Blessed Is The Busybody by Emilie Richards. It was different from what I expect, but a good and entertaining read. It was not overwhelming but nice. Looking forward to read the next book.
I finished my second November book at the doctor's office today. This has been a big year for doctor/hospital/testing visits for both me and my husband, so that I have been able to read a boatload of books of all kinds this year.
Finished the first in the Serial Challenge
Homicide in Hardcover. Enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book.
I am about 1/4 of the way thru Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. It's a little slow going, but I am going to stick it out.

Finished "Killer Hair" and "Designer Knockoff" the first 2 in my series - Crimes of Passion - with protagonist is Lacy Smithsonian, reporter. I like Lacy and the series a bunch!
Finished my first, Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder, by Joanne Fluke, the first in a series I had already read a few of. I've now started the Blueberry Muffin Murder, the third in the series.
I've finished my first book Murder At Dolphin Bay. It's entertaining but I find the MC a bit too nosy. Let's see the second book.
Marisa wrote: "I've finished my first book Murder At Dolphin Bay. It's entertaining but I find the MC a bit too nosy. Let's see the second book."Interesting. I have this book at the top of my TBR list. Can't wait to read it to see if I feel the same way as you do, Marisa. Perhaps I can get to it in January 2017.
I finished the second book in my series,
if books could kill. I'm still up in the air about the series. I'm not completely writing it off, but will take a break for awhile. Looking forward to next months pick!
Yesterday I finished my second November book
, it was a nice and enteraining read, not much mystery but okay.
Finished my second, Joanne Fluke's Blueberry Muffin Murder. Loved it, but I need a break from food-based books!
