There is a young girl who is loved by a boy in her class. One day he went to her house and offered her favorite cake. She declined, and when she came to school the next day the boy died. this devastated her so much she went silent for a long time. On a school day her teacher is sick and asks for a sub.. the sub is also sick and notifies the school. The school dose not get the message because i believe it was written and tossed. The class this girl is in dose not have a teacher for a day so they are unsure of what to do. Someone suggests to go on as if the teacher were there. They did so and went throughout their day. Also it has some connection to airplanes. I believe the girl's father might have died in a crash. I need help remembering this! thank you for trying!
