ABANDONED. Romance - Couple move to the countryside, he cheats. Spoiler ahead...

I've been through my amazon /waterstones history and cannot find this book at all! Its a story of a small town, a woman used to live with her husband in the city and she moved to the countryside.. pretty sure hes having an affair

(view spoiler)[ She lives opposite a woman who she thinks is a bit shady but it turns out shes hiding from a major drug lord who she has given evidence against - her childhood sweetheart buys the biggest house in the village and puts a spot light on the top of the hill something about how they used to wish for that when they were younger, she has a daughter whom I think is his child. He starts up a secret book club and it turns out hes a huge female author and writes a story about their lives. I think his name is Jack - they escape at the end of the novel because they find her and start a fire at her house. (hide spoiler)]

I tend to read lightweigh romance stories, jill mansell.. cecila ahern etc I've read a book a number of years ago about a couple who move out of th city perhaps somewhere like bath the. They have a baby. her husband has an affair . She has a neighbour with a young daughter who keep to themselves then a celeb moves in in the house at the top of the hill with a big spotlight I think his name might be Jack.

(view spoiler)[the neighbour is in witness protection from an old boyfriend, the man who moves into the village is the love of her life and he is also a secret author that writes a book about the summer he spend with the women something kicks off with the guy she is giving evidence about and they dissapear..
