Something I'll be working on tomorrow then will post the revised one on the blurb critique thread haha.

YAY for new blurb
and, I can now understand where and how Stephen King went into horror. though to be fair, he doesn't limit himself to horror. Heart in Atlantis for example haha

Bear in mind, also, that sometimes in traditional publishing, the publisher or agent will say, hey! Slinky toys are really hot this year, how about a horror novel about slinkies?
It does happen. How much it's happened with King, I have no idea.
I've found going back to his earlist works gives me a better idea of where he comes from, especially with four seasons.

I have seen that, a little bit at least. I also saw King as the type of writer that would not ruin what he's writing. Though I can also see it in these newer books which focus less on the horror aspect and is just a genre-blender that's less horror and more everything else.

Personally, it was my intention all along to write novels for the mass-market, and that's just where I'm at now. If I get inspired to write something that isn't for the mass-market, well, I won't let that stop me.

I can definitely see you getting into the mass-market. and from all the talks here on Fringe, you got the drive to do it

looking forward to your review, good or bad, and appreciate all your words :)
