Okay I read this, late again, but eh. One thing I really loved about this book by the end is how the atmosphere became more and more scary and hostile. The increasing hostility from the town, as the story unfolds, and the introduction of Charles and how he created more conflict in their home, and omg finally the fire. I was reading with my mouth hanging open in outrage and horror... I didn't know what was going to happen but I was so scared of what would happen!
