Welcome to the October read! I've broken up the book in about 50 page chunks - it's not a very long book!

I'm loving this book so far! It's so much fun, I liked the fun Constance and Merricat were having at the expense of their rude visitors. I find myself not caring at all whether Constance is responsible for the family members' deaths or not, I'm just invested in these three being happy.

I was so mad at how the villagers treated Merricat, but really liked how the author included little treats like the overreaction to Merricat needing sugar, but not explaining the significance til later.
