What are our first impressions of the pirate twins?

I like them! I love how they are similar but very different. They are also loyal to Alina (albeit at times secretive). They've always protected, from the very beginning & have never shirked their responsibilities.

I am so curious about them. I like them already. I am not that far into the book yet. But am curious ro know more about them. ^_^

I love the twins! Their non-Ravkan heritage, their personalities, their fighting skills. I wonder what Botkin was foreshadowing by "born for battle" and never marrying... I hope they find happiness in R&R while bringing hell.

Leigh's been hinting at some "homosexual characters" in the trilogy, which hasn't been looked at much in S&B or S&S. A lot of people speculate it's Tamar and Nadia from the excerpt.

What do you guys think? I reread S&S for moments but there's not much. I hope the only way this could have been predicted isn't because Tamar wasn't attracted to Mal...

I really love Tolya and Tamar :D I think they are very interesting characters. <3 And I cannot wait to read even more about them in Ruin and Rising.
