Making up words

So we all do that, yes?! (>‿♥)

I always think its kinda fun, although sometimes I write a word which I think is a real word but word's dictionary disagrees with me! So just now I wrote disapprovement, my computer puts a wiggly little red line underneath that telling me that it just doesn't like that word! Sure I could use disapproval, but I kinda like disapprovement!!

What words have you superstars made up?

Well, I just used the word 'shmushy' in my WIP, but it seems I didn't really make that up; most disappointing. (as in shmushy dressing gown; one that is soft and fluffy).

I make up words all the time though. e.g. concemtrating or betterer.

Shakespeare apparently made up lots of words, so I'm perfectly happy doing so.

Hahaha! Love the word shmushy, even if you didn't make it up it is totally a fun word!

Well, I always have a few words that pop up with that red squiggly line and so I then Google it. (All hail Google!) A lot of times it comes up in the urban dictionary or something, so I can't really say I made up any words yet. I could have forgotten though, that's a possibility. *chuckles*

I don't actually cuss (cuz I'm super uptight or something haha) so I make up sayings all the time. For example:

Oh, flogger nuts
Son of a beeswax
Mother fluffer
And so on...

Oh man, I forgot about cuss words. I made a few of those up instead of actually cursing:) Thanks for the help, Mistress Ann.

If there are not words that are made up in my story, then I didn't write it and report me missing to the authorities.

My story is Sci-Fi so I'm allowed to make words up, which I love lol. Any beta readers just see a page littered in red but I have all my made-up names and words in my dictionary lol
My favourite is my hero who's named Axamaxacorm Kas and he fexing swears a lot.
