Nothing to be sorry about. I'm just curious since this happens every month.

Like I said I'm not trying to tell people how to discuss the book. It's the same reason why I don't make a general discussion thread.

As long as your not posting Spoilers, it's fine.

LittleBookDruid | 2 comments I am so excited for reading this. The premise sounds really intriguing... :D

Joanna Chaplin | 1175 comments I tend to use it to post my reaction to the pick announcement, although if I've read it before and liked it, I will generally say so as well.

I don't think so. This thread is useful for discussing things like the availability of the book and if certain formats are more optimal for reading it.

Thanks for the input. I'll continue business as usual.

I really appreciate the comments people leave before they begin reading: things they're looking forward to, things they've heard about the book, things to bear in mind - sort of a pre-reaction to the book (preaction?) .

A "Preaction" thread is nice to read before diving in.

Rob (quintessential_defenestration) | 1035 comments Something maybe not worthy of it's own thread: I really appreciate a lot of choices of S&L exploring not exactly Non-Western but Stuff from Areas of The West That Aren't Exactly Western literature, like we've had two Eastern European picks in recent memory and two pics explicitly dealing with Middle Eastern fantasy.

Preaction!
