QNPoohBear | 478 comments Oh GOD! What a wild ride! I finally finished binge watching season 2.

I was glad Francis finally manned up and grew a pair of you know what. I was sorry to see him die but saw that coming a mile away.

I could not be married to a man like Ross. Brooding heroes are just not my thing. Admire his principles- yes, have a brief, fiery fling with - oh my heavens yes (though oddly I don't find him all that attractive) but marry? no. Which is why I love Demelza! He has met his match. I can not forgive him for what he did with Elizabeth. I hate punishing kisses and what he did was worse. I'm in the sexual assault camp. Elizabeth was a cold fish for Francis and I'm sure she wanted Ross in her bed but maybe not quite like that. Though I did think she was thinking "So that's what I've been missing!" It's no wonder Demelza was tempted to give him tit for tat. That whole drama broke my heart. I really thought Ross loved Demelza faithfully now, especially after that drama when she nearly died in season 1.

I despise Elizabeth. She never bothered to do anything but hide her emotions like the good girl she was brought up to be. She steels her spine and then does nothing. Whose need is greater? The fishermen or hers? Hmm let me think: big house, nice clothes, food on the table or cottage and no food on the table? I know she's thinking like a Georgian era noblewoman should think but I'm on Ross's side and on the side of the French (though I don't condone lobbing the heads of aristos).

Let's talk about George aka Draco Malfoy? If Draco had half George's finesse, You Know Who would have had an easier time or a rival. Did anyone else think Hogwarts when the Warleggen banners were revealed? George is most definitely a Slytherin.

I love Aunt Agatha though she is so nasty at times. She speaks freely and hears and sees more than people think. I sincerely hope her final prediction is NOT true, though I was wondering the same thing.

I did not like Caroline at first. I wondered what game she was playing and who she was after? Her character development was quite good. I love Horace-he's pretty much Pug from Mansfield Park.

I don't like the French Revolution intrusion. As if they don't have enough to deal with. I'm pretty sure Ross is going to have to rejoin his regiment and go off to the Continent whether by choice or not.

I'll edit this once I read everyone else's comments.
Now when does Season 3 start?

I haven't read the books but now I'm going to have to! I do love the gorgeous scenery of Cornwall in the adaptation. By spring or fall I won't have time to watch it!
