Commenting on "the tender considerations that came with being a member of the Supremes," Odette says: "We overlooked each other's flaws and treated each other well, even when we didn't deserve it." What other qualities make the friendship among the three women so extraordinary? In what ways do they help one another?

I think the women formed a bond in their younger years that made them stick together through thick and thin. The fact that they are so different, but yet remain friends and see each other all the time is amazing. I thought I had built lasting friendships, but as life intervened, those friendships have either been neglected or have gone away. I wish I had friends like them.
