I'm in Naples, Italy for most of the weekend but I've also been traveling to the England throughout the weekend.
I started off briefly in a nation called Akielos but I have now been captured and sent to an enemy nation called Vere.
19th century London, waiting for the appearance of The Ghost of Christmas Past. Yikes!
On The Isle of Skye with a great many house guests. The barometer is dropping, so the hike to the lighthouse may be cancelled

Joan - I was reading The Orenda by Joseph Boyden. It was fascinating, but very gruesome and went on a little too long for me. I am not sure that you would like it but it was a well done look at the New World Indians of the time period and at a culture being torn between their beliefs and the French Jesuit's zeal to try to bring Christ to the sauvages, as they called them.
I gave The Orenda 4 stars. It was a brutal time in Canada's history, and well worth the read in my opinion. I'm not dissenting with Cherie. It was a rather long read.Did you read the print version or listen to the audiobook, Cherie? I listened to it.
I read the print version. I'm not sure I would have liked it as an audio book, Janice. I gave it three stars. If there were halves, it would be 3 1/2 but it really dragged at the end - for me. I enjoyed the first half better than the last and I was tired of the story by the end. There was so much more that could have been focused on besides the brutality and torture. I understood that this was reality but it was more than I wanted to end with.
I'm in 1850s London curious about that woman wearing white. I am also in the womb, listening to my mother plot my father's murder with my uncle.

I have been to the Dharamshala Valley, India.
If I had read at least a page today I would have been still in England, 1976. But I had been in Whatsapp the entire day chatting with friends and relatives. :]

So, I never had time to go to the Congo today. I ended up staying home and not reading at all. Hopefully, I'll get there tomorrow.

I was literally in Baltimore, MD and Mount Vernon, VA this past weekend but made a stop along the way to an English village.

Totally understand!!
No, Sandra. I didn't know about whatsapp until I just saw it here. I will have to check it out though. I don't live near family any more. My issue was that I just moved and had too much to do.
You definitively should give it a try, Kristie. We have used skype, emails and everything, buy whatsapp is really like talking all the time.
