Sarah,That does sound like a really interesting read. I need to get into more non-fiction. I have a tendency to stick to fiction books and escape reality for awhile.
I used to hate non fiction. I have been giving myself a talking to about it and decided to try this one. It has really turned me around and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I've since been adding more to my wishlist. I guess I hadn't found the right subject or writing style to suit me before.
I find nonfiction to be hit or miss. Many times it is repetitive and that bothers me. You really have to find the right book and author.
Kristie wrote: "I find nonfiction to be hit or miss. Many times it is repetitive and that bothers me. You really have to find the right book and author."I'm the same, Kristie. Historical non fiction is my safest bet, but not if it's dry or inaccessible.
Today I'll visit the world of Elan for the first time. No idea what I'll be doing there, but I think I'll have fun!
I haven't been anywhere yet today, I plan to visit London at some point and go back to Broken Wheel, Iowa later today.
I've been traveling lately. Depending on the hour, I've been in Vienna, Rome, parts of Argentina, Jerusalem and traveling through the Dust Bowl toward California.
I just sold all my possessions to live as a nomad. Today I'm in Mexico, and might visit Guatemala and Nicaragua as well.
I'm becalmed (taking a breather after the toppler) but will be heading to Gotham City once I've got my breath back! I have unfinished business involving a rubber mask and tights!

I've been in Ireland most of the day and need a break. I can't decide if I want to go under the sea and meet up with the young mermaid, Serafina, or back to London and the McSweeney jury selection and Nigel Heath.
I spent some time in London and went for a dip under the sea, both. I am off to bed and a visit to Paris for a chapter or two before I fall asleep.
I was somewhere in the US (can;t remember where now) removing parts of the brain from epileptic patients and sending electric shocks through the brain of others.
I'm all over the place. In early 19th Century Cumbria I think for the Toppler. And still have 30 pages left in North Korea.
I was in Lake Eden, Minnesota, but I solved the murder there and left.Next I'll be in a care home for the elderly in Amsterdam.
I'm nowhere just yet, but plan to head back to Forrestville, Tennessee later today. I may also stop by a creepy castle somewhere if I have time.
Peggy wrote: "I was in Lake Eden, Minnesota, but I solved the murder there and left."You don't waste time, do you? :)
I am still in Beszel, one of the weirdest places I have been. I plan to stop by at the 60s' Spacetown in the USA, Hampton, Virginia.
I'm on a planet somewhere in John Scalzi's universe. I've no idea what it's called, but we're under attack.

Cool... I look forward to joining you and Sarah.
Laura wrote: "I just left 1920s NYC and am about to head to Britain to explore Slade House."I look forward to reading your comments over in the thread. I had better get started on it. :-)
I'm bi-located again. I'm in Bodmin Moors in 1820 in the sidst of a turbulant love affair with a horse thief. I'm also in a mad but sinistre village in the west of Ireland in the 1970's trying to find out who murdered my mother, with help, and hinderence, from the ghosts of the village.
