I need help brainstorming ideas for my story.

i want help for a project called the sadist i got a few ideas and i need more so please post some ideas. the story right now is bout a psychologist that's try to calm down a sadist who robing a gas station.

the story i have in mind is during the civil rights movement when a sadist targets blacks who try to gain equality the first victims are a mom and dad. the kid is at the stream playing a harmonica and thinking why pepole treat black so diffrent then he goes home mom and dad is not there so he goes to bed think they went somewhere. the next morning he wakes up and finds 2 men who inform him about his mother and father whos body they found tortured and murderd. iam blank after that i think i might want to have the kid'find his parents murder, have the kid make a living with his harmonica, ideas please to make this story a possiblity

oh how about the police in town wont do squat so cause they are in kkk so the blacks made thier own police.

no. i changed ideas instead the kid gets kidnapped by the sadist
and the black police must find him. while the kid distractsv the sadist.

Good ideas. As for your new police force, how are they treated? Do other citizens know who the members are, or is it secret? If they do know, have you planned any attacks or violence towards them? Because in the Jim Crow South, it would probably be illegal for them to form their own police force. This is a solid idea and it sounds like you have a good direction. Lots of tension, which is great. Do make sure that you do your research, because many readers do tend to notice historical inaccuracies and inconsistencies. This sounds great. :)
