Yeah I wasn't a big fan of the jumping around within the book either. I got used to it, but I don't think it would have taken anything away from the story to just write it in chronological order. The jumping around made me not a big fan of the book. Actually the biggest thing that made me not a fan of the book is they killed off the little boy. that disgusted me.
