The page number of the US Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Illustrated Edition by Jim Kay are 246, 248, 256 (and perhaps more) depending on where you look up the source, but supposedly, if it is an edition published by Arthur A. Levine Books in 2015, it should be the same edition. Hence requesting the merge.

For page count, Worldcat is usually the most reliable online source. (Unless a user with the book in hand can confirm the actual page count.) Worldcat has 246 pages for this edition. (Worldcat doesn't include the last page when there is no page number on it). Someone has changed it from 246 to 248; I'm inclined to leave it at 248.

I don't know if this is a case for deletion, merging editions or something else.I accidentally typoed an author's (Cecil Bødker) name in a search, and noticed that one of her books, "Tænk på Jolande", was accidentally marked with "Cecil Bødger" as the author. I corrected the author's name, and then took a look at her other works, where "Tænk på Jolande" was already listed.
The one that had been credited with "Cecil Bødger" as the author has no reviews, and nobody has added it, which made me think that perhaps it should be deleted. (I'm still quite new as a librarian, and this is the first time I've noticed anything like this. I'd really appreciate the help in deciding the best course of action; that's why I didn't even merge the editions yet.)
So, could somebody take a look, and see if the book should be deleted? And, if deletion is the best course of action, could that person carry out the deletion? The URL for this "missing lamb" that had been credited with an incorrect author's name is https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... (ISBN 8774051601).

#453 More complicated questions, such as this one, are best asked in a separate thread. This thread is for fairly straightforward deletions/mergers of editions that have been added more than 5 times. These editions haven't, so don't need a superlibrarian to merge.Both were added by the same person, so I think when they noticed their spelling mistake they added it again. That in itself is no reason for deletion. Only if there is nothing to discern it from another edition (different cover/ISBN/publisher/(page count sometimes) may an edition be merged.

#397 reverted the changes that were made during the Amazon data removal in 2012. The edition with the ASIN is actually a German kindle edition. The duplicate is an ACE for ASIN B000FC2L1Y

#404 sorry, no idea if it is for book 1 or book 2. It was added to GR before book 1 was published. There are two ratings, both users have book 1 on their shelves and added the Untitled edition after adding book 1.
#405 No merge. If details are incorrect, they should be corrected. Someone has removed the isbn from the edition with the green cover; the other edition has an isbn13 that is not an isbn: 9847017800008.
Sometimes all details, except the cover, seems to be the same. They should be marked as an alternate cover edition. Usually one cover is printed later than the other with the same isbn, though sometimes the same publication date is found for both covers.
