Julie Will this cover work? The three people are a little fuzzy, and it doesn't show their entire body, but you can tell there are three people on the cover I think!

Ms.soule (mrssoule) Are either of these books okay? If you specifically want humans The Pride of Chanur won't work, but I honestly don't know enough about The Elfin Ship to know if the people on the cover are humans or not. (Apparently all the books in my TBR with multiple people on the cover are sci-fi.)

message 27: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 1295 comments So I read 30 pages of Keep Quiet today and HATED IT. Life is too short to read bad books so I am considering alternate options from my shelf of super loved books (this is a literal shelf in my house). I think the following cover is a stretch since it just shows feet but I figured if you don't ask you won't know:

A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby

If you understandably veto these are my two alternates:

Time And Again by Jack Finney (it's hard to see but there is a crowd of people on there- small but definitely humans)

or

The Small Rain (Vigneras, Book 1) by Madeleine L'Engle this one is the most clear.

Thanks for taking the time to advise on these! If approved, it also gives some great choices for others! These are some of my favorite books for very different reasons!
