Holly (holly_sz) The main character was a girl who played the piano (possibly homeschooled) who go's the this secretive hight school. She then finds out its a school for assassins/spies. At the end of the book there's this competition kind of thing betewin students. Also the principal I'd a "bad guy". The cover possibly has the colour purple on it. If u have eny ideas on what the title might be please comment. Thank you!!

Holly (holly_sz) OMG sorry for all the spelling mistakes!!!

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You or one of the other Gallagher Girls books?

There is another series where the cheerleader girls are actually spies, and they are "hidden" in a regular school. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of that series, and since it's on either my Kindle or my Nook (yes, I have both, and read from both) and there are a total of 4k books on the 2, well. . . . .

There is also a Steampunk series Etiquette & Espionage with this idea, but the school is disguised as a Victorian Finishing School and floats over the moors of England.

As you can see, there are a fair number of books/series with this idea.

Holly (holly_sz) Unfortunately I have already read the Gallagher girls series and etiquette and espionage series so there not the one I'm looking for. thank u though!

What year did you read this book?

What's the location - U.S./England/country, big city/small town/region?

Holly (holly_sz) I probably read the book 3 years ago. For location I think I might be England, but the school was in a hidden location.

Anita (daisydoris) | 23 comments I recently read a book with a young girl who goes to a convent which isn't really a convent but a place where you are taught to be an assassin. It doesn't really follow your synopsis but this book is part of a trilogy so maybe in one of them is a piano playing girl. Its also historical. It was Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers and its the first book in the His Fair Assassin series.Grave Mercy

Holly (holly_sz) It was not the His Fair Assassin's series for I read those already. The perfect over looks like a good book I might read but that's sadly not it ither

Holly (holly_sz) I also feel like her name was really short. Like T or Y. I'm not sure though.
