Got them. Enjoy!

Do you have any examples where this is the case? I don't see why it would be a problem, but I've also never seen this come up without any other appropriate category comes up, too.

Noted for humor. Hope you like it!

I checked the graphic novel shelf and am finding graphic novels on the main page of each book rather than graphic novel. I'm through two pages so far, but I'll keep looking.
Dear Ms Anderson ,
I rolled a 5 for one of my numbers . Can you tell me if this would work for Mental Health ?
It doesn't have any genre listings on the main page for it ,but it's about a mental hospital . (nonfiction )
The Philadelphia State Hospital at Byberry: A History of Misery and Medicine (Landmarks)
Thank you , K~

I'm sorry, the genre needs to be on the main page. That's an SRC rule, not one of mine. I'm sure it will work for another task, though, if you really want to read it. I can recommend some, too, if you'd like.

In that case, I'll ask about getting it changed so it's plural in the task. I'm sorry for the confusion and stuff ^_^;;;

Approved!

Approved for mental health, and children's books work for my task :D

For Humor, are Takedown Twenty or Three Men in a Boat acceptable?

Both will work. I really liked Wintergirls, too :D

Roll 4: Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore"
Both will work!
Hi Ms Anderson
Could this book be approved for the mental health category ?
The Splendid Things We Planned: A Family Portrait
I think it has 4 people right now that have it listed as Mental Health .
Thanks --

Approved!

Embedded genres work, yes. I hope you like it--I just picked it up myself :D

I'm sorry, picture books aren't allowed in the challenge, and this one has that genre on the main page.

The Sandman, Vol. 4: Season of Mists
The Sandman, Vol. 5: A Game of You

Works for me :D

Thanks! So excited. So far my list doesn't have any books I am "meh" about and has many books I planned to read ASAP!

Humor: The Actor and the Housewife
Fantasy: You Slay Me

I need to do that, too. I stopped about 1/3 into the third book because I was afraid he was going to kill off my favorite character. Now that I know it doesn't happen, I should be safe to read them again lol

Roll 6 - Fantasy - Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers

Roll 6 - Fantasy - Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers"
I think you might have put the wrong book in for 6 >_> It will work for humor, though!

Roll 6 - Fantasy - American Gods
Sorry."
Sokay! It's one of those days lol And American Gods will work for fantasy. Enjoy!

For Graphic novel I will read Locke & Key, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom
And then for Humor I want to read FoxTrot en masse, even so it feels a little bit like cheating reading a second Graphic Novel/Comic.
Perhaps I should switch to Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void
Can I have both approved till I decide?

Read two graphic novels if you want--they're literature, too :D But yes, everything is approved.

Humor
Seduction and Snacks
Fantasy
Broken Aro"

Work is stressful lately, so I've been diving into some activities to keep myself sane until I get a break.
Roll two dice, then read books related to each of the activities you roll. If you get doubles, roll again until you get two different numbers.
1. Writing Poetry: Writing is one of my favorite things to do, and it's kept me from losing it on many occasions. I'm even putting together a personal anthology!
Read a book with the genre "Poetry"* on the main page.
2. Projects for Friends: I like creating fun multimedia stories for my best friends, not only because those friends enjoy the finished product, but because it keeps my mind off of the things that upset me. My current major project is about a girl who gets lost in a maze of alternate universes.
Read a book with the genre "Science Fiction"* on the main page.
3. Playing Video Games: I picked up a few of the Lego games on Steam during a sale, and I'm not doing too badly, given how awful I am at platform games. Lego Marvel is great because I can run around as the Hulk and smash everything in my way. It's cathartic.
Read a book with the genre "Graphic Novels"* on the main page.
4. Rifftrax: I used to love watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 with my dad as a kid, and three of the same guys from the show now make audio tracks to play along with blockbuster movies. They're hilarious—they make good movies even better and bad movies moderately watchable.
Read a book with the genre "Humor"* on the main page.
5. Alphabetizing: Strangely enough, alphabetizing my books, video games, DVDs, and CDs is comforting. It's restoring order to chaos, something I can control when everything else seems to be falling apart.
Read a book with the genre "Mental Health"* on the main page.
6. Eye Candy: Sometimes it's nice to look at pretty things when you're stressed. Like Tom Hiddleston's smile and Benedict Cumberbatch's eyes or Hugh Jackman's biceps.
Read a book with the genre "Fantasy"* on the main page.
*Genres may be stand-alone or embedded.
Required:Identify the options you rolled.
Note: Books with the genre Children's less than 300 pages but that otherwise conform to the rules are welcome here!
Note: Books with genres “Graphic Novel,” “Sequential Art,” “Comics,” and “Manga” that conform to all other SRC rules may be used for this task.
