I agree with you both, Sho Sho and Susan. Nalini Singh writes incredible, entertaining books but this one fell a little flat for me (view spoiler).I think I might wait a few weeks to give it some space, do a reread and then write my review for it. I just can't decide how I feel about it.
Started reading this one (better late than never). Its great to see the teamwork between the wolves and the cats. I was particularly impressed with their trust in Judd and that they have faith in his opinion of Kaleb. I can't remember if Judd told Hawke that Kaleb is the Ghost.
The whole concept of Silence is really sad and it seeing the effect that it had on a single individual (Zie Zen) makes it all the more heart-wrenching.
I'm re-listening to the series ,I'm on book #3.The last thing I was listening to was the part that Hawk asked Judd if he knew anything about the Ghost and Judd said no! His royalty was still to the Psy.

Judd is one of my favorite in the series. All the broken furniture made me laugh, lol!
I'm currently on chapter 22 - its about time that someone disposed of that Ming monster!
