Didn't do such a hot job of dividing chptrs. esp. since I like to leave reveal chptrs. in a thread of their own. Sorry about that PI's. Oh well, we'll get it done just the same. Have at it! ;)

I'm buried in two books but I'll try to join in side read. PI's, you are free to pick one of the Pumpkin books as I don't feel I should have play in final selection round. Go for it and we'll go with it. :-)

Seems Lena is becoming fond of Sam West. Is that a good thing or should she be wary?

I think she should be a little wary because she's in a new place and she doesn't really know him (and has had some advice about him) but I don't think he's a REAL threat to her. I think it would be too obvious for the author to have an alleged wife murderer go after some random woman he just met!
There seems to be 2 guys that Lena would be potentially interested in romantically so which one do you think it will be?? (you know a cozy has to have at least one interest)!

True, that, Nicole. I'm thinking that Doug is more appealing to Lena. However, a cop's wife life is not an easy one.

I agree Tina...except maybe being a small town detective's wife doesn't quite equate to being say a big city cop's wife.

Gothic, Victorian, Queen Anne, Painted Lady, Gingerbread for me. I find the modern too sterile, cold, uninviting.

Waffles! Num. Anyone have a great waffle recipe? I tried one with whipped egg whites folded into batter and it was good but not with the flavor I was hoping for.

That late night visit was creepy. Wonder who's behind it?

I haven't had waffles in ages! I did get a craving for them when I read that part in the book. Like I need the carbs!!
It seemed like the late night visitors were looking for something. Those big dogs came in handy!

Just starting this section. I know there was some discussion about the quotes at the beginning Of each chapter...me thinks although they are from Camille's book, they apply to Lena and the events that are about to transpire (somewhat) in the chapter.
Apologies if that was already decided.

J, I see that now. Glad quotes don't play heavily in solving the crimes though it would give story another layer of intrigue.
