This is in SEPTEMBER 2016 footnotes ... is there a more central location to put this tip so it stays on the group's front page forever?

Karin | 9245 comments Okay, but I'm still in the dark. Where do you get the number beside the title???

JoLene (trvl2mtns) | 1532 comments When you actually do the "add book" link, you will find the number.

Example: "book:The Seven Sisters|22609358" --- the number is after the | . It should be the same number that is in the URL when you have the books main page open.

Okay, so you mean the link you get when you click on add book/author or the url when you go to that book's page? Are you simply adding that last part to the url at the top of the page?

JoLene (trvl2mtns) | 1532 comments You are adding that book ID number to the URL (red part) so that it is looking for the book associated with that number is on the "shelf" that you are looking at.
