Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I am glad they are often such lengthy books, for the sake of our game. And I am glad you are such a quick reader.

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Anyone have a clue what the revealed portion could be? I haven't figured it out yet, but it's looking really rich in tone and color and quite beautiful. We'll see if it stays that way once more is uncovered.

message 255: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments No idea!

message 256: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments Not sure yet. I'm thinking maybe an ocean or Christmas theme.

message 257: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments We get a surprise piece! Which should we take off?

message 258: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Something around the letters, for sure.

message 259: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Maybe 115 or 122?

message 260: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I put in for #122 as our free piece, so we'll have another piece to consider over the weekend.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 337 comments I'll be posting a book soon.

message 262: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments It's "The Last" something, for sure. Anyone have a clue what it might be? Does it have the feel of any particular author for you?

message 263: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Looks like that lower word starts with TEA, but I am not sure.

message 264: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Only ten puzzles left! We are still ahead right now, but things will surely move fast again, as the teams are still so close together. Keep up the great reading. We are doing really well!

message 265: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments Hi ladies! I have been out of town and away from the internet for the last few days. I have looked at the latest cover and do not know what that is either. Hopefully I will have another book or two done in the next couple of days to help with piece removal. :)

message 266: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Glad to hear from you, Brittany. ☺ Hoping we can figure this cover out tomorrow. We'll see...

message 267: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Think I just found the cover! Do we want #1 or #18 next?

message 268: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Just put in for #18. Trying to finish another book tonight, since I turned in my editing job. Yay!

message 269: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments Great job, Andrea! Onward!

message 270: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Did y'all see that there's now going to be a prize for the winners? Pretty cool, huh?

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 337 comments Just posted a book over 500 pages

message 272: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Awesome! Looks like we will have a few pieces to work with soon. Hopefully they will be helpful.

message 273: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments Okay, competition update:

Team one has solved 13 puzzles. Getting close on #14.
Team two has solved 12.
We have solved 15. We're in the lead, friends! Keep pluggin!

message 274: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Thanks for the update, Amber! I got cruising on my book today. Hoping to finish it tomorrow. And two books came in for interlibrary loan! Squeezing both of those in around editing, tutoring, and writing is going to be tricky, but I'm aiming high.

Happy reading, Musketeers!

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 337 comments I posted two books

message 276: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Awesome! Great job, Angie!

message 277: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Hey Musketeers! How was your weekend? Do anything special?

I did a little Christmas shopping. Fun times.

I'm trying to read two books this week. We'll see how that works out with my job obligations. Seems my schedule only gets busier.

message 278: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments We have letters! Let's see if we can get some books read by Wednesday to flesh out those words. Happy reading, Musketeers!

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 337 comments I posted a book over 500 pages

message 280: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I have two books to post - was just waiting for the requested puzzle pieces to be revealed to make sure where I want to request ☺

message 281: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Nice!

message 282: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I think I found the cover!

If I did, Amber, do you still want #48, or would you like a different number?

message 283: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I think that's it! Great job!

message 284: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Thanks!

If we get two more puzzles solved, I think we secure the win. Let's do this!

message 285: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments Sweetness! Way to go, Andrea!
I think I will change it. Hopefully we hit letters right off. :D

message 286: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I hope so too, Amber!

Wish I had more time to read over the next couple of days. :)

message 287: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments No letters yet, ladies. Guess we'll have to keep hunting. Unless someone has an idea as to which cover this is...?

I read a couple of chapters this morning and think I'll get another two or three this evening, but that won't put me as close to finishing this book as I hoped.

Anyone else close to being able to post another review or two? Happy reading!

message 288: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments I have a book I finished last night that I'll try to get a review up for tonight.

message 289: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments Actually I have two. I will try to get reviews up soon for them.

message 290: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Sweet! I'm hoping to have one or two done by end-of-day Friday.

message 291: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Well, I'm stumped. Any idea of the tone of the cover? Seem familiar to a particular author's line of books?

message 292: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 1038 comments Nope! I hope to have another review up tomorrow.

message 293: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Adding a book now. No idea where to guess, so we'll see how this turns out. :)

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 337 comments I've got two books that I'll be posting soon

message 295: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Yay! That should help us out on this tricky puzzle.

message 296: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments I think I found the cover! When I saw "lod" at the bottom, I thought, "Maybe it's 'Melody Carlson.'" And that cover looked like it might be it when I saw it in the list of books she'd written. :)

We just might be snagging one of the last two puzzles to solve!

Can you believe our game is almost finished???

message 297: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments Way to go, Andrea!
We're getting close...

Sorry to be lagging behind in reading. This past week I hardly had any time at all. Hoping to catch up this week. I'm about 80% done with a book and I think I can finish it in the next day or so.

message 298: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Amber, don't even worry about it. It's been a slow week for me too. I've read around five or six books this week, but only two of those were over 100 pages and able to be used for this game.

Sooo glad this is a team sport, because each of us has had to rely on the others at some point or other through the process, whether it be for reading or figuring out the puzzles with the revealed pieces.

Isn't that just like life? No one person can do life alone. It takes a community of folks to get us all through, and I think God designed it that way. His genius is beyond compare.

message 299: by Amber (new)

Amber Lemus (amberschamel) | 72 comments So, now that it's over...what is the favorite book you've read during this challenge?

I have two. Gentleman of Her Dreams by Jen Turano and With Every Breath by Elizabeth Camden.

message 300: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 4741 comments Canteen Dreams by Cara Putman.
