Our first puzzle is taking shape. Great job, gals!Let's talk names. It'd be cool if we could decide by the end of next week.
Reading Musketeers
Cover Sleuths
Shall we vote?
I'm loving the books, and three hundred pages isn't terribly long...except I am a slow and savoring reader. LOL. Looks like we might have found some words on that cover!
It kind of looks like an aviator biography to me, but I am not having any luck finding anything to match on a search. Hopefully we'll get more of those letters soon.
Wow! I am duly impressed. Copyediting deadline slowed my pace this week. Hoping to jump back in soon, though.
Only one more novella in the book I'm reading. Am copyediting right now, but hoping to have time this evening to read, read, read.Have y'all had a good weekend so far?
We have some words showing up on the cover. It's hard to tell but I'm wondering if it is "message" "messiah" "messianic"...etc...I'm not sure.
I was thinking along that same line, but I couldn't find a matching cover. I'm wondering if it would be helpful to find the author's name. Do you think it would be near the bottom?I'll have a book done tonight, maybe another one by Wednesday. What do you think, ladies? Should I go for the author's name or continue uncovering the title?
I hope to have a review up tomorrow and another on Wednesday to help, as well.I'm good with whichever you want to try.
Team One has already solved two puzzles! How in the world did that happen so quickly???I'm hoping to be able to read a little faster once I turn in this copyedit job on Wednesday.
Do y'all know what number you want after we solve this one? Depending on what numbers are left, of course.

Lol! It happens to us all sometimes, I think :)

For sure!Team, apparently I'm a lucky guesser. Looks like I found the author's name. To me, that looks like an R or a B... Is there another letter it could be, do you think?
Between the title and author's name, with a few more letters/pieces revealed, we should be able to guess our cover. Hopefully.
I think we selected the most difficult puzzle for out first - no idea what it is, but looking for possibilites.
So once we finish this one it gets easier? I like the sound of that!Great job on finishing another book, Angie!

Hope so!
Does that look like an "so" or "sc" after "time"? Could be "time sc," "time so," "times c," or "times o."
I waited on the new puzzle number, though, because I thought everyone might want to chat about it and decide together.
Well done!!! I'm fine with 20.Think if you get 2/3 confirmations to get the next puzzle - so that the game can go on :-)
That would mean we need one more vote (in addition to mine; I'll also go for 20) to be 4 out of 7. I'm cool with that. Things don't officially get updated again until tomorrow, so we have a little time. We can totally keep reading, though, as far as I know.
Yep! You can keep reading and you could even post reviews for the next puzzle (since it'll be a new puzzle, any number can be removed again). ;)
Will put in for it. Thanks, y'all! So happy we've finished our first puzzle. Are the books you're currently reading pretty interesting?
I'm enjoying Lynette Eason's Without Warning. On chapter 10 already. I usually fly through her books, which will be helpful for our game.
Wow! I can't believe ya'll guessed it already! I was too busy to log on yesterday, but I finished a book/review to put toward our new puzzle. Great job, team! Hopefully the next one will be a bit easier. I've never seen that book before.
I hadn't seen that one before either, which I think made it more difficult.I'm so glad you enjoyed the second Edwardian Brides book. What did you think of the first one (if you've read it)? (view spoiler)
Awesome! I'm posting one now. I'm hoping we can figure this cover out a little quicker than last time.Great job, team! So proud of y'all.
I really liked the first book in the Edwardian Brides series. I think it's my favorite of the series so far.
Team 1 has already guessed two puzzles. Getting on to their third. Team 2 is also on their 2nd puzzle, but I think they're close to guessing it.
We're not far behind. Like you said, we have a few fast readers. Keep at it, ladies! We're doing great.Love the update. It's good to stay aware of our competition.
