Hey Becky, check out The Garden Girl mystery series. I have loved the first four! The first is~ Who Murdered Mr. Malone? (Garden Girls Mysteries #1) by Hope Callaghan

I also love the books by Karen Musser Nortman . The campground mysteries and the time travel trailer ones.

QNPoohBear | 19 comments I've been reading a lot of mysteries. I like cozies but I also like period pieces with a bit more of the history woven in.

The Cozy Corgi series by Mildred Abbott starts off nicely. I adore Watson.

Death Comes to Bath REALLY good! I don't like the modernized language but otherwise the period setting was great and the mystery managed to surprise me a bit.

The Case of the Black Tulips is a Victorian cozy rich with atmosphere. The second book is not so cozy and features more of the seedier side of Victorian life, including violence.

My hands-down favorite mysteries have been the Lady Hardcastle mysteries by T E Kinsey about an eccentric, wealthy widow in Edwardian England and her trusted ladies' maid friend. Lady Hardcastle decides to retire to a quiet life in the country only to discover they just moved to the murder capital of England. There are usually three mysteries for the ladies to solve, quirky characters and plenty of period details.
