Do you re-read books? Why do you do it?

I pretty much never reread books. The only ones I've reread are ones from childhood that I've totally forgotten and classics from when I was in high school that I needed to read for a challenge.

Yes I do reread. Especially if it's been a while since I read the first books to a series. Or if I'm in a reading slump, I'll read a book I had already read but enjoy. Sometimes I just want to reread certain moments. Other times, I just really want to reread a book!

Yes i re-read books have done since the beginning. My main reason is i love it. Sometimes it is to refresh my memory or it has been a long time.

I re-read when I am trying to get out of a reading slump.

Claire Allan (missclaireallan) I re-read books when I am in a book slump or just genuinely want to re-read the book(s) again

That is me as well. I have done that with a few books.

Valé (eggy18) | 59 comments I reread those I find timeless, such as 'Jane Eyre'. In particular, I read my favourite scenes or, sometimes, the whole thing.

Claire Allan (missclaireallan) this is the second time I have been on a book slump this year hopefully it doesn't happen soon

I hate book slumps! I hope you're better now.

R.J. Abell | 682 comments I'm starting to get an itch to re-read a book now, but I'm holding off for a bit.

I had to re-read Fallen by Lauren Kate after seeing the movie trailer for it. I was like oh my gosh I need to re-read this and I have to do it now because what I am currently reading is just not there for me at the moment.

Is it a book trailer or are they making it into a move?
Don't judge me but...I just didn't get into the series :( I will probably still watch the movie because ...why not?!

There is no judging promise. It is a trailer for the movie. They have premiered it in several countries so far just waiting on news for the movie to get to the states.
