I should get it. I ought to get it. I just seem to never think about it when I go to the book store.

So I just finished A Court of Mist and Fury and let me tell you... That book gave me a hangover!!! The first one in the series wasn't spectacular but it drew me in and this one was amazing! It started strong, had a few lulls but the ending was freaking fabulous! Omg I'm dying for the next one!!!
this gave me last book hangover, I cried and was emotionally devastated by this book. I am also very afraid of next year and the last book will bring.
I am finally coming off the effects of my most recent book hangover from
. It gave me a book hangover the first time I read it so I am not surprised that it gave me another one. I watched the trailer for this and I just couldn't get it out of my head.

I am with you in the minority, I really liked the first one, and hated the second one and didn't bother after that. In fact I have tendency to stay away from angel and demon genre it's very hit or miss for me.

I have read I think only Three that involve Angels/Demons. I enjoyed the first two books of a trilogy and was kind of less impressed with the final book. I enjoyed both sagas that I read completely through.
-Trilogy
-Saga
-Saga
I completely understand though that for some people it is a hit or miss. I have to say I'm not like a lot of hardcore fans that get angry if you don't like my favorite book. I am one who wants to know why you don't like my favorite book and just try to understand and see it from your point of view.

I don't know that i can always explain it. I loved the first two books in hush hush, loved fallen but was not impressed with the next one. I asked Cynthia hand's Unearthly series and Wendy Higgins Sweet Evil. No rhyme or reason.
I believe in angels...but I'm just not into the angel thing. I'm not sure why, just not into them. Just like some people aren't into vampires or romance...I think it's all about preference. As far as demons I've read some books that I've enjoyed, but they were really vampires but they called them demons. Like I think the dark hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon (it's been years since I've read these) she referred to the vampires as demons (and i could be getting this confused with a different series).

No, you aren't getting it confused. I am reading the Chronicles of Nick very slowly because my husband says I should read them. He's read just about everything she has written. I'm all over here like I've got to many of my own books to read to include yours. But to make him happy I have started reading them and in the Chronicles of Nick she refers to them the same way. I understand not being into the angel thing when it comes to books. A lot of them are hit or miss.

Oh I have not finished Cynthia Hand's Unearthly. I have the final book to finish for that one. It got a little slow and to whiny for me at the end of Book 2.
