Name that book

This is killing me...I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this book. And i know I am going to do a horrible summary and I may be mixing 2 books, but here goes... Its about a girl who has a glamour over her to be not seen properly. And she ends up falling in love with this guy who is from the underworld. She was with one group of people but ended with leaving them and moving into a house that the guy owns that has a portal back in time. She travels back in time and meets him a few times. There is a big battle at the beach in the end of the book. There is a passage through the rocks that lead to the gates of the underworld. The passage was blocked and she ended up jumping off the cliff to escape but the guy was trapped on the other side. She goes back to school and thats where it ended. I think there was supposed to be a sequel but i CANNOT remember the name!!! Any help is appreciated.

That kind of reminds me of Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini or Mephisto Covenant maybe???
