Finished the challenge with , which works for #2.

Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I tried my best to resist temptation, but alas wonderfully failed!! Darn pecan pie!

How are you supposed to resist Pecan Pie?

Good question Dustin! Well you should probably not eat the whole pie in two days. I did share two small slivers but polished off the rest of it. In my defense I only eat pie once a yr, due to food intolerences. Oh and I cut into the pie 3 hrs before dinner. Life is short!

You don't really get sweet potato pie very often here in Jersey but a neighbor made one for me and it was awesome. :D

finished How to Talk to a Widower for the dysfunctional family task. I liked it but not as much as This is Where I Leave You-I really loved that book.

Not going to finish my last book for this challenge. Boo hoo! There is just not enough hours in a day for reading and real life. Real life has been intruding way too much on my reading life, lol. Its also cutting into time on GoodReads. I've missed you guys.

My favorite pie is key lime. I make it myself and I am quite proud of it.

I never had pecan pie, we had it at Thanksgiving and my brother took the last piece. No one ever make key line that I know of.

In the past I've had bad experiences with the Lemon Merengue - it might just been because of how the Merengue was made or who made it or how long it sat out or something. I don't typically go for Lemon Merengue because it brings back bad memories of feeling sick.

I'm hoping, I called twice so far to check on him, he's hooked up to an IV and antibiotics to bring fever down. His glucose was fine and no pancreatitis so in the morning I have to call. I took off work and have been crying nonstop all day, I'm gonna have sleepy time peach and use tea bags on my eyes then hopefully drift off till I can go get him.
