I wanted to share another great resource that has helped me to narrow down some of the ebook marketing sites, since I can compare genres and other criteria with authors who have similar strategy and budgets. Scroll down to the BLUE CHART which shows results that indie authors have had with the marketing sites, including number of downloads, whether they did countdown or free promotion, how much they paid, etc.

lots of yummy data. i'll definitely add it to the spreadsheet. in fact, b/c of its sheer breadth, this "indielister" promo site listing might replace the spreadsheet's "marketing" tab.
(thinking out loud: "after about a month of compiling marketing data on promo sites, book bloggers, and such, it seems a little daunting to keep up a reasonable level of accuracy w/o an automated utility to collect the data.")
