Sunday morning, my wife and I always change our bed together.

Computers, then out for a walk.

Been off now 4 weeks, one more week off next week.

message 2523: by Lynn Renee (new)

Lynn Renee | 1706 comments Up at 05:00 to take my meds but now giving Otto meds too. The flea treatment I've been using for years suddenly isn't working and all the sudden Otto's ears were swollen and painful. Cleaned them out, but the next evening they seemed worse so I called the Vet and got him in the next day Friday. $310 later Otto is on an antibiotic, ear drops, a flea medicine that killed anything on him immediately, and a different long lasting flea killer. He also had his rabies vaccine and a nail trim. I also decided to put him on a joint supplement since he just turned 11. I know how much pain I am in all the time, I probably should have started him on something sooner. So instead of my alarm going off, taking my meds and going back to sleep. We have a new morning routine for the next 2 weeks. The 17:00 meds for Otto aren't as bad as dragging my butt out of bed. 🤣

Starting yesterday taking 14 days off on holiday, staying in Jersey my wife is still off sick (5 weeks now)

Took Sam, (springer spaniel) out with me for a north coast cliff walk, 6 miles, known as the three valleys. (Fitbit marked as 137 floors walked of stairs) in felt like it...

Today another 4 mile walk and run with Sam, took my wife out for a snack, little jobs at home.

Just great not getting up early for work, great feeling.

But always something to do. Physiotherapy today as well.

Tomorrow testing two different cars, gardening, to garden centres..

Today, Sunday the first day of summer. Clocked changed and...

A lovely sunny day.

My wife and I spent 5 hours working in the garden, tired, but good work.

Changed our bed, as usual on a Sunday, and went shopping.

Off Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but also off all next week... great.
