Bought a new Christmas Tree today(not a real one, not with 4 cats)

Went out for a pub lunch, shopping !

4pm and watching an old scifi-esque miniseries - Triangle - on Netflix.

A dog's not good for a real tree, either, Sean. Or a fake one, for that matter. My family learned that the hard way:

When she was a puppy, Buttercup, knocked over our tree one day when we were gone. She was the runt of the litter and got tangled in the power cords for the lights on the tree (this was in the mid 1980's...well BEFORE the advent of the prelit tree). Given her runt status, she could easily have HUNG herself in addition to knocking over the tree in her struggles to get OUT of the power cords for the lights.

She never went near the tree again... unless we told her she could.
