Lunchtime, here in Jersey.

Off to go and play some snooker for 2 hours, then a tennis match for two hours then home to chill out and watch Strictly Come Dancing results, then A Factor.

Aymen Ben cheikh Thanks Christine! I hope so :)

Robin | 170 comments It's 2:41 PM here in the UK. Currently I'm trying to force my self to do some of my homework. I'll most likely not do anything about it, but I have to at least pretend to try and convince my self to do some of it.

It is 11:01 in Delaware and I am making cream of wheat. I would rather have Jonnie's pancakes.

Robin, if I have something I don't want to do, I put my nose to the grindstone for like an hour or so, and when I am done with that effort, I feel great and have no "guilty" feelings about reading or whatever fun stuff I want to do afterwards. If I don't make the effort to be a little consructive I feel kind of crummy the whole day. Try it.

message 510: by Elaine (new)

Elaine | 146 comments Its 4 pm here in the UK, and the dog decided at 2.30 pm that he wanted his tea, because we forget to tell him that the clocks went back an hour last night. So I fed him and took him out for a very very long walk and run, so hopefully he is shattered now and ready to chill out.

Yeah but I'm very lazy. I find it a lot harder to start doing something than actually doing it. Most likely I'll do it at the last minute and panic, which will be reflected by the quality of work.

You can never go wrong with pancakes. Oh as your offering I'd also like some. After all it would be rude to refuse.

Jonnie (jonjon2991) Dawn, I don't think we have cream of wheat in NZ! It's a "specialty food" here, so let's trade! ^_^

Me too Christine! Breakfast is deeelicious! :) I lost track of time, 3am is a regularity for me....hehe!

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments It is 1:33 AM and I just checked my livetrap. I am trying to catch a second stray kitty that comes to my back deck to eat. I got the first one last night and got him to the local shelter yesterday morning. Well, this check revealed the meanest raccoon I have ever encountered. I have had these guys in my live traps before and they are usually so scared they just ball up and wait to be let out. This guy was a mean one--growling and jumping about and giving me dirty looks. I couldn't get the darned back end of the trap to quite open up so went back in to "armor-up and to get me a big fat stick to use as a weapon in case he went the wrong way once released. Fortunately, he had worked on the back end himself while I was putting on layers of clothes and got himself out. Just another exciting night in Minnesota...back to bed now. Hope I have a kitty when I get up again...

Wow Christine that's dedication. I find it hard enough to get up at my normal time as it is, let alone at 1 AM. When ever I wake up too early which admittedly I do most days, I'm invariably cranky, my family has learned the hard way to leave me alone for the first half an hour or until I get some food in me. Oh and peckish is when your just craving a snack. I think Jonnie's all ready explained, can't be bothered to read all the comments. I once again display my laziness.

Paul 4:10am here in New Zealand. Couldn't sleep, so it's a cuppa tea, a homemade Peanut Brownie, a little 'inter-netting' & maybe reading.
Been offline for a couple of months, due to shifting addresses & convalescing with a broken leg,so am enjoying being back on GR:)

Autumn (autumnmemory80) Right now it is Sunday 12/14/14 7:25 pm, 43 degrees Fahrenheit and I am watching The Holiday with Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. I love both these beautiful women and every time Jude Law smiles I melt. This is a Christmas favorite movie. I just got home a few hours ago from Church where I signed up to work with the Prison Ministry at the local Women's Prison here in Montgomery. I am very excited for this opportunity.
