One Moment by Linda Green
Finally after 2 month I got my first book review. It's my husband's lies. Going to start it tonight! Excited but I now have to review 4 books so I better get starting reading!!!
My review for
The Sin Eater by Megan Campisi. Based in the 16th century it features a young girl who has to ‘eat’ people’s sins in the form of specific foods after they die. She stumbles across a royal mystery when an strange food appears next to the coffin of one of the queen’s courtier.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
What a debut! I absolutely loved When We Were Vikings by Andrew David MacDonald. Zelda is different and awkward and she knows it, but she faces life with an honest earnestness that I wish more people had. It's not a 'thriller' but it's certainly got bad guys.
5★ Link to my 'Vikings' review

The Chain by one of my favourite authors Adrian McKinty
I'm not sure what genre this is - not exactly a thriller or mystery, although there are unexplained murders and a missing woman. There is a fantasy element, but it's also possible the narrator is delusional. That's about all I can say without heading into spoiler territory!
You Let Me In by Camilla Brucereview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Some advice to those trying to get into NetGalley. I was rejected at first which all of us go through. So I requested four books at the same time to review thinking I wouldn't get accepted. Well all four came in at the same time and all due for review at the same time. I felt terrible but had to turn some down. So a valuable lesson learned!!

When I first joined I assumed if I didn't hear back within a day or two it meant I would be denied. Not so! I ended up with something like 12 approvals my first week and had to play catch-up. I've had a few books that took up to a month for approval.
