Robin Hobb has a lot of trilogies and they all take place in the Realms of the Elderlings so I made a folder for all Robin Hobb books.

Here is order of her books: Robin Hobb books. This lists all of her books in this universe so the .5 books are unnecessary to read if you don't want to read them.

Emma Are you planning a group read for Realm of the elderlings? I'd love to re-read them and it's pretty much a stand alone series (although it follows on from the Liveships trilogy)

I think Dani and Aristea were the two that were most interested in buddy reading them. I would jump in after the Farseer Trilogy.

message 4: by Dani (new)

Dani | 577 comments I would love to buddy read the Liveships trilogy but for me it would very much depend on when you'd start if I jump in.
But by all means don't mind me because I already have too many books planned between now and the next half year anyway :-/

Anni | 5066 comments Me! I'm nearly through the first book right now and up for more :)

message 8: by Emma (new)

Emma Definitely up for a re read of the Rainwild chronicles or Liveships trilogy..

message 9: by Laura (new)

Laura (lauradragonchild) | 6554 comments First book of which Anni? Rainwild or Liveship? I don't still have the Rainwild in paper and being big books i don't want to read them on Kindle. I'd like to start with Liveship or Farseer as I altrady have those.

Let me know if you guys do read the Rainwild Chronicles. I have the last one to read, and if you guys pick that series, I'll read the last one when you get to it.

My bad, I mean the first book of Realms of the Elderling, at least when you leave out "The Willful Princess and the Piebald Prince". It's Assassins Apprentice ;)

So Laura and me start the Farseer series right now, if someone like to join us :) We are both a bit of beginners here, should we open a new topic?

Hi Anni,

Yes open a new thread with the title of the book as your header. Also put in the start date and I can add it to the buddy reads. Leave it under this header Realms of the Elderlings. :-)

Quinn | 460 comments AHHH what a terrible idea schedule it between Senlin and second book of the powder mage!!!

message 14: by Anni (new)

Anni | 5066 comments Are you also interested? I thought for Farseer there were only Laura and me and everybody else will join later for the following series?

message 15: by Quinn (new)

Quinn | 460 comments Usually it is better to add new book later than last mins. That way more people can join. I wanted to read this book but it is in middle of two books that j am scheduled to read

I'm sure there will be another time when people want to read it the book Quinn :). Plus it means the thread is there that people can always contribute at a later date.

Anni it's fine to start now. Sometimes buddy reads do start spontaneously.

message 17: by Anni (new)

Anni | 5066 comments I've started the book last month on my own because I don't get much interest in the Buddy Read invite thread. Now I'm at 75% and Laura offered to catch up. Thats the reason for the quick start. But according to me we could wait a bit with the second book, I'm in no hurry.

Laura (lauradragonchild) | 6554 comments You've got to be kidding me! Wait!!! This book is addictive! I am only in chapter 3 but already don't want to put it down. I'll probably be staying up late today..again...! Please please please don't wait!
