So the book is about a girl who I think moves to California? Maybe? And she's basically a loner at her new school, and hangs out by the library. She gets advice emails from a person in her school, but she doesn't know who they are. She works at a bookstore. In front of the library, she sees this guy who is really quiet and has a bunch of girls who fawn over him, but he ignores them. The guy is part of a band that is really popular at the school. Later, she is paired with this guy on a project, and hangs out with him after school.
