15.2. It’s Not Too Late, but Don’t Wait Any Longer!

September 5 is Be Late for Something Day and September 6 is National Fight Procrastination Day. Read 2 books:

A. It’s late, but not TOO late – read a book that fits one of the Summer 2016 5, 10, 15 or 20 point tasks. You may not use Task 5.10 for this one.
Summer 2016 tasks
REQUIRED: When you post, indicate which Summer 2016 task you're using.

AND

B. Don’t procrastinate – read a book that you added to your TBR, purchased, were given, added to your e-reader, etc., during June, July, or August 2016.
REQUIRED: In your post, state when you received the book or added the book to your list.

A new book provided to you to review also works for part B.

This thread is now open!

Bea Sandy, I have not purchased, been given, added to TBR or downloaded to my Kindle at all this summer! The only thing I can think of is a book to review by a new author sent by email. Would that work for B?

message 8: by Book Concierge (new)

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 4447 comments Question for Option A ... there are a few of the 15 point tasks that required TWO books. Can it be a book that would fit either option, or are we not allowed to use those tasks?

For example: Task 15.1 - Read Your Passion, Rio 2016
Option A - a book set in South America
Option B - main page genre SPORTS / SPORTS & GAMES / SPORTS ROMANCE

Could I now read a book set in South America?

yes, for those 4 tasks, you can use either of the options (or, of course, the one book option for 2 of the tasks).

Nicola | 1360 comments Are you allowed to read a book that you actually read during the previous season? (I tend to re-read books that I really enjoyed a couple of months after my first read - weird I know)
