Hero never fails to show her mettle when it counts. I thought the exaggerations of her exploits quite funny, lol. She's certainly developing a reputation to match Sebastian's. I also loved that Sebastian took equal offense to Jud's perceived threat to the black cat. haha
Hero has more depth than I thought, and I already had a high regard for her. She certainly was not a typical Regency young lady.
Oh, I loved the exaggerated stories of that encounter just as much as the scene itself. Sebastian seemed to as well.
I admire everything about this woman. In her, the Jarvis traits work.
I was surprised that the cat took to both of them and they him! Makes up for the dog:)

Hero is an amazing heroine - she ranks right up there with Kate Daniels as a favorite of mine. I love that everyone thinks she's as crazy as her husband - a perfect match!

I love Kate, too. I also thought it funny that she and Sebastian threatened Foy if he did anything to their cat and each time he was confused that someone would be so passionate about a cat.
I love Hero. Her character is a unique woman for this era. It is interesting how she is a revolutionary for her time, while retaining many of the customs of the era too. One of my favorite scenes is when Sebastian is thinking about finding a larger home. Hero tells him she likes their house. It seems to confuse Sebastian that she is happy.
