Duplicate author and book

This two authors are translated duplicates:

The later one has some (but not all) books which are also a duplicate of a book under original author.

We DO NOT merge translated language author names.

The author name that the book is first published under is always first regardless of what is on subsequent covers.

We then add the 2nd name to each of the books that are appropriate.

What language is the 2nd author name you posted?

Only when pen names are used. With translated authors, the English/international name should be primary on all their books (even on ones that have not been translated).

Its in Russian. But if you look at this book for example both original and translated authors are listed.

I know that adding a translated edition adds a translated author, but it is still linked to the original one, isn't it? I think the two mentioned authors are not connected anyhow.

Sorry, that is for pseudonyms.

For author names in different languages, primary author name should be the Roman (English) spelling, so https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

I don't know if there is enough difference between Stanisław and Stanislaw, but the latter is the English version.

I've added Stanisław Lem as primary author on all Russian editions.

I wrote my previous comment before I saw Arenda's at #5. Searching for Stanislaw does bring up Stanisław, so no need to add Stanislaw as well.
