Edwina Book Anaconda | 260 comments Do you have stacks of books from the 70's that you just never seem to get around to reading?
Yes? Me too!
So I challenge myself, and you also, to read seventeen books from the 70's
starting today and ending August 17, 2017.

You have a little over a year to complete this task.

To join just number 1-17 below, and don't forget to come back and edit your post when you finish a book with the title, author and year.

Ready? Set? Read!
(But most of all ... HAVE FUN!!!)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Anybody still playing?

message 6: by Edwina (new)

Edwina Book Anaconda | 260 comments I've been working on my decade challenge plus working my way through an anthology of Ghost Stories (tis the season, lol). I do plan on hitting this challenge hard in a couple of weeks.

Cheryl (cherylllr) I'm going to cheat. The collection Wanderers of Time, by John Wyndham, was posthumously published in the 70s. But the stories were written in the 1930s, under his name John Beynon, so I'm also going to use it in the decade challenge over there.

Edwina Book Anaconda | 260 comments Finally on book #10.
How is everyone else doing?

message 9: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Thanks for the reminder. I did add a few more, but I think I'm probably done now... I still have lots of books that I own and want to get around to reading but I don't think many if any are from the 70s.

So, I'm pretty happy about that!
