I was pretty sure it wasn't quite right... I also learned Danish centuries ago when I was in college, and I do tend to confuse my German and Danish together, which is probably why it sounds more like Dutch!!!

Marianne - Thank you for reading the challenge rules and trying to follow them. While I prefer participants to post both the names and book covers for series, I have let others participate when they only posted the book links and haven't included the covers or when they forget to post the names of the series. If you're having problems next month, post what you can and join the challenge.

Oh, I do, Jill. Thanks for choosing it for me!

Death on Demand was one of the first cozy series I ever read, even before I knew the books are called cozies (and before I joined Goodreads, where I track my reading, so that's why I'm not positive which books I've read).

message 80: by Jill (new)

Jill Tool have you tried www.fictfact.com/ they have a ton of series of books and you can also keep track of what you read and it will tell you which books you've read and what you need to read next in the series. It's a lot easier then going thru you're library and see what you've read and what you haven't. I use both goodreads and fictfact.

I used to use FictFact but found that a lot of series were either not kept up to date, were incorrect or did not update the newly release books until months after its release. I use FantasticFiction to look up authors and their series and maintain my own spreadsheet for authors & series for which books I've read, need to read or buy, etc. FantasticFiction is terrific about listing the authors' books that are to be released and the release date.

Karen | 205 comments I just finished my first September Book. It was great read. Pretty easy and quick. I love Agatha Raisin. There is an Agatha Raisin TV show where each episode is one of the books. The show is pretty good but the book is always better. I hope everyone is enjoying their September reads!

This series is one of my favorites. I'm listening to an audio of Queen of Hearts - the first time I've 'read' one this way. The narrator is doing a great job with different voices.

Gary Sundell | 794 comments Just finished Grey Mask A Miss Silver Mystery (Miss Silver, #1) by Patricia Wentworth Grey Mask: A Miss Silver Mystery by Patricia Wentworth. A solid mystery, but Miss Silver seems to be a minor character in this story, admiiedly the first in the series. I will be reading the second book shortly. Family medical problrms have been slowing down my reading time.

Great to revisit this series, and read one of the early ones I had missed previously. Interesting needlework and ecclesiastical snippets, and a rather surprising conclusion, though I had been suspecting the "villain" for some time. I enjoy the characters and the setting in this series.

Wow! Four books in two weeks! That's pretty good, I think I couldn't read more than two books of a serie in a month. I would get a serie burnout :D
