Susan (jazzescrapper) | 2172 comments There is a read-a-thon I stumbled on today called Pokemon Indigo League Read-A-Thon and one of the rules (challenges) is to read a book that is a post apocalyptic setting. I picked The Bronze Horseman (with the help of my daughter) I am pretty new to reading YA books so we were both unsure if this book is a post apocalyptic book. Can anyone tell me if it is and if it isn't can anyone give me some titles of YA post apocalyptic setting books? Thank you so much for your help.

Susan

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) I've never read The Bronze Horseman but this list might help you. :)

(I just looked at the book's shelves - they are on the right side of the page when you look at a book's main page).

Bookbuyer posted a really good list for picking Post apocalyptic books that should really help you pick.

there's also a Genre spot in Goodreads that you can search.
There is a definition and a few groups of books that can also help you choose one you might like

Post apocalyptic Genre list

I hope you find a good one! :)

Martina | 34 comments My dad read/tried to read that book, and he wouldn't pick up a YA book. I agree with Trisha. This is more a historical book with probably lots of violence in it, as that's what my dad goes for.

I just saw that on the right side of the page. That is so helpful. Thank you for that info. What a HUGE help that is when picking books for some of the YA challenges too
