Kelley (kelleyrebori) | 1 comments I read a children's book when I was a kid, which was about a family (parents, a daughter and a son IIRC) who lives in a bus. Maybe a school bus. This illustrated book may have talked about the conversion of the bus, as well as their lives there. It may have been part of a books of several different stories. The book would have been written in the 1960s or 70s; I would have been in elementary school (early-to-mid 70s) when I read it.

It's not one of Boxcar/Railcar books - this was definitely a bus. :) Thank you!

I've searched Google, Google Books, Amazon and Stump the Bookseller. Fingers crossed someone else read this?

Kelley, I moved your request to the Unsolved folder because you're looking for a specific book.

Rainbowheart | 28686 comments The Blakes by Alison Wright is also about a family converting a bus and then traveling around in it. Do you remember if they traveled with the bus or if it stayed in one place?

Professor Diggins' Dragons by Felice Holman is about temporarily living in a converted bus. I can't be totally sure, but I *think* the family in Figgs & Phantoms also lived in a bus.

Rainbowheart | 28686 comments On the off chance that Kelley ever comes back, might want to have a look at the Bus Rider list.
